Our Slimtek- S letters enhance any setting with their bright and evenly lit returns. The tiny LEDs embedded dot by dot achieve a perfect glow with a flush mount installation. Slimtek-S letters are just over an inch thick and do not require spacers or off-wall mountings.
Full Edge Illumination
For letters with a stroke of 1″ or more, the whole return can be illuminated. The faces of these letters can be painted or have a layer of our stainless steel options. The returns have a perfectly even light with no hot spots or dark areas.
Side-Lit Illumination
For letters with strokes up to 3/8″, half of the return can be illuminated. The other half can be painted, or it can be made with one of our stainless steel options. This construction guarantees the light will be evenly diffused and there won’t be any brighter or darker spots. The half of the return that illuminates can be towards the front or the back of the letter- your choice!
Beveled Edges
For letter strokes as thick as 1/8″, we can still achieve a nice glow! By beveling the edges, we can have a front stroke of 1/8″, and a thicker stroke on the back of the letter, so that we can embed the LEDs and illuminate the returns. For this, there are two options: One is to have the faces and front part of the returns painted and the back part of the return illuminates. The other is to have the faces and the back part of the returns painted and the front part of the return illuminates.
